Look up Luke 24:1-12 and John 20:1-11. First, when it says that He died on the cross, it means that He completely died. He did not just pass out or go into a coma. After He rose from the dead, the stone was rolled away to let people in, not to let Him out. Christ rose from the dead on a Sunday, which is the first day of the week. If His timing is important, our timing should be important too. Finally, Peter always wanted to be close to the Lord, but even he denied Christ. Like him, when we fail, we can still ask for forgiveness and live to do great things for God.
