Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience. Where to go? What to wear? What time to show up? What’s here for my kids? What can I expect? These and many more questions may come to mind. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Spring Creek Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and “at home”! Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.

Finding our church:

We are located at 3177 Indian Springs Road in Seven Springs, NC. Seven Springs is south of Goldsboro, east of Mt. Olive and west of LaGrange. We are about 1 mile east of Arrington Bridge Road. Our facilities are handicap accessible.

Schedule of services:

On Sunday morning, we have Sunday School at 10 am: infants, toddlers, 2 year olds, 3 year olds, 4 year olds, 5 year olds, 1st and 2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade, 5th and 6th grade, Junior High, Teenagers, Young Adults and Adults. We then have our morning worship at 11 am. On Sunday evenings, we meet at 6 pm and on Wednesday evenings, we meet at 7 pm for Bible study.

What to expect:

During our Sunday School hour, you will be taught from God’s Word a lesson appropriate for your age group. During the worship hour, we will have traditional singing and special music which is followed by a clear, helpful and challenging Bible message from Pastor Jason Watford. This service usually last about an hour.

Are kids welcome:

Starting with an excellent nursery, there is something special for every age child. Our nursery is clean and staffed to meet your needs for children age five and under. We have fun, friendly Bible centered classes for your 1st – 6th graders. We want your child to be excited about coming to church!

What to bring:

A Bible will help you follow along in both Sunday School and Worship services. If you have a Bible, bring it with you. We use the King James Version of the Bible.

What to wear:

There is not a dress code at Spring Creek Baptist Church. Our Pastor and church leaders and many of our church families dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit to Spring Creek Baptist Church.

What about the offering:

We don’t invite you to Spring Creek Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

If there is something we missed on this list, just give us a call, or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you are new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it’s been a long time since you have attended church at all, we hope your first visit at Spring Creek Baptist Church will be awesome!

We are a small church with a big God!

We exist to serve you and your family, and we are looking forward to meeting you personally.
We hope you will feel right at home from the very first moment you step onto the property!
Let us know how we can serve you better and we hope to meet you this Sunday.
